The onboarding user-flow for @loopmessenger is *to die for* - wow. Phenomenal work! Wishlist: a bit more customization control, markdown support (!), a tasking system, & more 3rd party integrations... a promising start tho, maybe soon a contender against @QuillChat their ilk. <3

At last a group Messenger that doesn't blow up with notifications. Love that the threaded messages keep everything organised and the shut up button means I can leave any conversation without leaving he group.

This app is exactly what we’ve been looking for. Threaded group messaging! Our family has been using GroupMe for years now but have been frustrated when comments get lost and abandoned. Threaded group messaging totally fixes that and allows for separate conversations to branch out from the main one! And the ability to moderate the levels of notifications for each thread is genius! (My only desperate wish would be to have the ability to send videos in messages 😭

I started using this app to keep my 14 member hockey team informed. Now using for other stuff too. I love the admin controls. They allow me to keep communication discrete, efficient, and easy. So happy to ditch facecrook and whatscrapp. Great work and thanks!
1. Can anyone use Loop Messenger for Free?
Yes, Loop is free for everyone using the Open Loop. Small and medium sized organizations who require more control in the form of a private workspace will prefer to use subscription based Closed Loops.
2. What makes Loop Messenger different from other messaging apps?
While we have many cool features, the awesomeness of Loop resides in its consumer friendly appeal. Whether it's our conversation focused threaded messages, the ability to control your notifications, or the beautiful simple design; it's the experience as a whole that makes Loop Messenger special.
3. What is the difference between the Open Loop and Closed Loops?
The Open Loop is similar to Facebook Groups where anyone can create and promote a group for most any purpose with zero cost. As the name implies, Closed Loops are “closed” private networks of users and groups designed to provide more control and privacy typically required by organizations such as small and medium sized businesses.
4. When should I use the Open Loop versus using a Closed Loop?
The Open Loop is ideal when you want to create random individual groups and you don’t need the additional controls of a Closed Loop. Organizations such as businesses, sports leagues, schools, church groups or any small to medium size enterprise may benefit from the dedicated environment of a Closed Loop.
5. Tell me more about Closed Loop subscriptions?
First off, Closed Loops are free for up-to 10 members. When a Closed Loop exceeds 10 members then a resonable monthly subscitpion fee will apply for every 50 members. Pricing will be made available by December 31, 2020 with a 50% 1-year discount being offered to organizations who have begun using a Closed Loop in between October 1st and December 31st 2020.
6. Are Closed Loops charged “per user”?
No. A monthly subscription fee is charged to the owner (Creator) a Closed Loop. This can be an individual or an organization. Users invited into a Closed Loop do not incur any cost.
7. Can I move my groups from another platform to Loop Messenger?
Yes, You can use shareable links to share your groups or Closed Loop via email, text message, or any social network. Get started by downloading Loop Messenger, create a group and share it with your network today.
Zoom is in the Loop
Zoom is integrated into all of your groups. Whether you want to message or video your group, Loop and Zoom have you covered.
With high, low & off notification controls, you control the groups that get your attention.
Notifications from groups that matter
Add an event to any thread. You no longer have to reply with the “I’m In, I’m out” replies you typically see in group texts.
